The book is written by Ruth Hull, a lecturer at Jill Farquharson College, one of the leading institutions in South Africa. Ruth has many years’ experience as a tutor and has professional qualifications in anatomy & physiology, massage, aromatherapy and reflexology.
The General Editor is Greta Couldridge who has worked in further education as a lecturer, team leader and external verifier for beauty and complementary therapies. Greta has a wealth of experience and has ensured that the content meets the National Occupational Standards for beauty, hair and nails as defined by Habia as well as for complementary therapies as defined by Skills for Health.
The main reviewer is Sally Todd. Sally owns UK Holistics, an award-winning certified training school for holistic and complementary therapies. Sally has reviewed the book from a practitioner’s viewpoint and ensured that the text is factually correct, comprehensive and straightforward for lecturers to teach and students to understand.
